MEET THE FOUNDERS
Mas Maniacs was founded in 2023 by Risha Baptiste and DJ Choice 1 with one clear goal: to create a Carnival experience that feels inclusive, organized, and unforgettable. What started as a passion project quickly grew into a movement rooted in connection and culture.
Risha leads the creative direction and operations, ensuring every detail — from theme development to masquerader distribution — is handled with intention and care. With a background in customer service and logistics, she focuses on delivering a smooth, elevated experience for every member of the band.
DJ Choice 1 brings the sound and energy. As a respected figure in Atlanta’s Caribbean music scene, he oversees the truck experience, sound quality, and entertainment direction, making sure the road feels powerful from start to finish.
Together, they’ve built Mas Maniacs on community, professionalism, and passion — creating a space where every masquerader feels seen, supported, and ready to enjoy the road.
